DEPARK Ranked 2nd Among Early Stage Technoparks at the 4th TDZ Summit The “Technology Development Zones Performance Index”, organized by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology for the fourth time this year, was announced. A total of 64 TDZs, 51 of which are active in Turkey, were evaluated in four categories at the summit. Dokuz Eylül Technology Development Zone (DEPARK) ranked 2nd in the Early Stage (Age<5) TGB category. DEPARK ranked 8th in the general ranking of all technoparks in Turkey. Receiving the awards on behalf of Dokuz Eylül Technology Development Zone (DEPARK), Dokuz Eylül University Rector Prof. Dr. Adnan KASMAN and DEPARK Chairman of the Board of Directors Prof. Dr. Murat ÖZGÖREN stated that this success is of great importance for Dokuz Eylül University, other universities and technoparks, and Izmir. 12DEPARK, which provides employment opportunities for more than 1100 people with an occupancy rate of over 98% and an office area for R&D and innovation purposes of more than 1,000 square meters, is honored to be Turkey’s first thematic health technopark, as well as contributing to Izmir’s progress towards becoming the Capital of Innovation with these awards.
