\nSISKON\u2019S JOURNEY IN THE DEPARK ECOSYSTEM<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In the history of every company, there are certain decisions that mark not only a change of address but also the beginning of a new era. For us, one of those turning points began with a decision we made in 2005.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Founded in 1997, Siskon was eight years old at that time. We were no longer a startup taking its first steps, but a company that had produced solid projects and secured its place in the sector. We wanted to carry our activities in software and automation into a more systematic structure, benefit from incentives, and strengthen our sustainable growth. With this goal, we decided to move our operations to either a technopark or a free zone.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

At that time, we opened our office in Teknopark \u0130zmir, which was the first and only technopark in \u0130zmir. Being one of the few companies in Turkey to have an office in a technopark was not only a matter of prestige for us but also a strategic step. This new structure offered us many opportunities for growth and innovation.<\/span><\/p>

However, over time, the distant location of Teknopark \u0130zmir from the city center began to create certain challenges\u2014particularly for the daily commute of our employees and for the customer visits of our field teams. It was exactly during this period that we heard about Dokuz Eyl\u00fcl University\u2019s plans to establish its own technopark.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

From the very first day of this new initiative, we chose to be part of it. We became a founding partner. We even supported the construction of the Beta Building with a \u201cbuild-operate-transfer\u201d model. With this step, we were not only moving to a more central location but also actively taking part in shaping a new technopark culture.<\/span><\/p>

The DEPARK office we moved into in 2015 was the very first workspace we designed entirely according to our needs. With its functional structure, we brought together departments such as accounting, sales, administration, and IT. Our proximity to our customers in Torbal\u0131 and the Free Zone significantly increased our effectiveness in the field. At the same time, our corporate visibility rose noticeably.<\/span><\/p>

For us, DEPARK was not just a physical address but also a point of intellectual transformation. In this ecosystem, we established new collaborations with startups, companies, and academic stakeholders. The culture of knowledge sharing and mutual support naturally became embedded in our business life.<\/span><\/p>

Looking back today, we can clearly see that our step into DEPARK was not merely a relocation; it was a milestone in which Siskon expanded its vision and reinforced its long-term development strategy.<\/span><\/p>

In addition, we have actively participated in all general assemblies of DEPARK Inc. so far; we have not only been a tenant but also a stakeholder who assumed responsibility with an ecosystem mindset.<\/span><\/p>

S\u0130SKON\u2019UN DEPARK EKOS\u0130STEM\u0130NDEK\u0130 YOLCULU\u011eU Her \u015firketin tarihinde baz\u0131 kararlar vard\u0131r; yaln\u0131zca bir adres de\u011fi\u015fikli\u011fi de\u011fil, ayn\u0131 zamanda yeni bir d\u00f6nemin ba\u015flang\u0131c\u0131d\u0131r. Yaz\u0131l\u0131m ve otomasyon alan\u0131ndaki faaliyetlerimizi daha sistematik bir yap\u0131ya ta\u015f\u0131mak, te\u015fviklerden faydalanmak ve s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclebilir b\u00fcy\u00fcmemizi peki\u015ftirmek istiyorduk. Bu hedefle, faaliyetlerimizi bir teknoparka ya da serbest b\u00f6lgeye ta\u015f\u0131maya karar verdik. \u00a0 O d\u00f6nem \u0130zmir\u2019in ilk ve tek teknopark\u0131 olan Teknopark \u0130zmir\u2019de ofisimizi a\u00e7t\u0131k. T\u00fcrkiye genelinde teknopark ofisi bulunan say\u0131l\u0131 firmalardan biri olmak, bizim i\u00e7in sadece bir prestij de\u011fil, ayn\u0131 zamanda stratejik bir ad\u0131md\u0131. Bu yeni yap\u0131, bize geli\u015fim ve yenilik i\u00e7in pek \u00e7ok f\u0131rsat sundu. \u00a0 Ancak zamanla, Teknopark \u0130zmir\u2019in \u015fehir merkezine uzak konumu; \u00f6zellikle \u00e7al\u0131\u015fanlar\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n g\u00fcnl\u00fck ula\u015f\u0131m\u0131 ve saha ekiplerimizin m\u00fc\u015fteri ziyaretleri a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan baz\u0131 zorluklar do\u011furmaya ba\u015flad\u0131. Tam da bu d\u00f6nemde, Dokuz Eyl\u00fcl \u00dcniversitesi\u2019nin kendi teknopark\u0131n\u0131 kurma planlar\u0131n\u0131 duyduk. \u00a0 Biz de bu yeni olu\u015fumun ilk g\u00fcn\u00fcnden itibaren i\u00e7inde olmay\u0131 se\u00e7tik. Kurucu ortak olduk. Hatta Beta Binas\u0131\u2019n\u0131n in\u015fas\u0131na \u2018yap, kullan, devret\u2019 modeliyle destek verdik. Fonksiyonel yap\u0131s\u0131yla, muhasebe, sat\u0131\u015f, idari i\u015fler, bilgi i\u015flem gibi b\u00f6l\u00fcmleri bir araya getirdik. Torbal\u0131 ve Serbest B\u00f6lge\u2019deki m\u00fc\u015fterilerimize olan yak\u0131nl\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z, sahadaki etkinli\u011fimizi ciddi \u015fekilde art\u0131rd\u0131. Ayn\u0131 zamanda kurumsal g\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcrl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcm\u00fcz de belirgin bi\u00e7imde y\u00fckseldi.
